Police in Slovakia, Hungary arrest three in radioactive material case
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (AP) — Police in Slovakia and Hungary arrested three people and seized 2.2 pounds of an unspecified but “dangerous” radioactive material the suspects were trying to sell for $1 million, Slovak authorities said Wednesday.
Yikes! If its enriched uranium, they will be able to tell which reactor it came from. Probably from Russia. It’s odd though, that the Slovaks were selling it in Europe. You know any Middle Eastern country or terror group would have put up the cash and we would have never heard about it, until that is it was detonated in a Midwestern City..
