Dennis Kucinich to Bring Up Cheney Impeachment Articles on Tuesday

Posted in Uncategorized by Patrick Truax on November 6, 2007

WASHINGTON — Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich is planning to make a procedural move on the House floor Tuesday that would call up a vote on the Democratic presidential candidate’s resolution to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney.

In the resolution, which was introduced in April and has 21 co-sponsors, Kucinich accuses Cheney of lying to Congress and the U.S. public in order to enter into a war in Iraq, and of trying to mislead again in order to start a war with Iran.

I suppose the worst congressional approval record ever will be improved upon with this kook base pandering stunt..*rolls eyes*

This is the same guy that said he would start a Department of Peace if he were to be elected President. Articles of Impeachment are a hostile act in my view.

Here is a link to a T-shirt this guy would wear while tending his carbon offset garden.

    Have a nice day

The attack on Iraq by the United States was illegal. And, the occupation of Iraq by the United States is illegal. Furthermore, the cause for attacking Iran is being raised in a similar fashion as was the cause to attack Iran.

Attacking Iraq, and stepping up the cause to attack Iran are hostile acts. Holding the administration accountable for those actions is not a hostile act.

Were there no grounds for impeachment, then impeachment would be a hostile act. However, with the list of Constitutional violations by Vce President Cheney, taking impeachment off the table is a hostile act.

The GOP proceeded with impeachment proceedings against Clinton for having sex. Why not against Cheney? Maybe if the Dem’s throw enough things on the wall, something will stick……. He has more skeletons in the closet than Bush Sr.

What a waste of time and taxpayer money… but I gues liberals are good at that. So we can’t fault him for doing what he does best.
