Kim greets Roh in Pyongyang before historic summit

SEOUL, South Korea (CNN) — North Korean leader Kim Jong Il greeted South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun in Pyongyang on Tuesday to begin the second summit between the two countries since the peninsula’s division after World War II.

We are becoming parodies of ourselves..

Here is the money quote..But South Korean investigators later revealed that Kim Dae-jung paid hundreds of millions of dollars to secure the meeting, the first between Stalinist North Korea and capitalist South Korea.

In his August 22 article, Klinger wrote that “it is unlikely” that Seoul made any secret cash payments for this week’s meeting, but noted that “Kim Jong Il does not cooperate for free.”

So Kim takes the money, tells everyone what they want to hear, and then goes right back to manufacturing cocaine, heroin, conterfieting US currency and developing and proliferating nuclear weapons..

Kim needs to be dealt with harshly, paying him to go to a summit is ridiculous. It just shows he not serious…
