Obama Gives Iraq To Al-Qaeda

Dont Even Think About It

In announcing the US’s plans to withdraw from Iraq, and going as far as setting a date, President Obama has literally given away the Iraqi store. Citing progress, the continually improving Iraqi training cycles, and Afghanistan the United States has given the terrorist organization plenty of times to order new drapes and carpeting.

In his first major Iraq speech at Camp Lejuene, Obama announced his surrender plans in Iraq. Surrender? Absolutely. Once we pull out, Al-Qaeda moves in, thus undoing doing years of hard work and sacrifice in bringing democracy to a region where there is only one other, Israel. It must have been a double whammy to our brothers and sisters in uniform; the retreat being sounded at a major US Marine installation.

One of the biggest reasons for staying in Iraq is maintaining a foothold in a region where animosity towards the West is a rite of passage. With the closing of US facilities, Al-Qaeda will have a number of training camps, and when it is revealed that they are training at Balad, the media will blame Bush for establishing terrorist camps in Iraq! Not to mention Iran being right next door, just waiting for a chance to take over with the help of the Shi’a majority in Iraq.

Obama’s falling in line on a pet liberal issue, endangers the rest of America and indeed the world. Why in the world would anyone announce a retreat withdrawal to the enemy? And why is it the Democrats always retreat? They were so proud of themselves for pulling out of Viet Nam, thinking this ended the war, but all it did was create three communist countries, and begin a killing spree that lasted for years. Yes, Virginia, the Vietnamese communists who the anti-war democrats got in bed with in the 70’s immediately invaded Cambodia as soon as we pulled out in 1975.

This is the scenario we can look forward to next year when the US Cavalry Standards are replaced with the white flag of surrender. It is amazing how left never learns from history.
